INTRINSIC BIOMECHANICS
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Intrinsic biomechanics involves studying the internal body processes that result in external movements. It focuses on comprehending the interconnected neuro-musculoskeletal system, which forms the foundation of the observed external movements.

Essentially, it delves into the internal workings of the body, including how bones, muscles, joints, and nerves function together to project the external appearance. This analysis helps identify root causes of pain or limitations that may be hindering athletes performance. It does this by utilising a systematic whole body assessment to ensure the athlete feels seen, heard and that no stone is left unturned. Usually delivered over 3-4 sessions, progress is monitored, reviewed and adapted throughout. The main aim of the sessions is to restore the athletes optimal postural alignment in order to improve movement efficiency, prevent injuries and optimise performance.
INTRINSIC BIOMECHANICS COACHES
At the moment we are only operating in the London, Essex and Hertfordshire regions. We are on a mission to expand nationwide and allow all athletes to benefit from the power of biomechanics and the Uruz athlete programme. If you are a qualified intrinsic biomechanic coach and are interested in getting involved please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
